Scoil Íosa held a fundraiser on  Friday 6th February to raise funds for our pupil, Izzy Sallis, with the slogan created by her classmates in Mr. Joyce;’s class, ‘Wear it Bright for Izzy’s Fight’ . On the day, everyone wore something colourful and bright in solidarity with Izzy, to let her know we are with her in mind and spirit.  We are absolutely thrilled that we raised €5000 which will be lodged to Izzy’s GoFundMe fundraiser. On Friday 13th February, Scoil Íosa’s Parents’ Association is holding a cake sale in the school, and all funds will go towards Izzy and her family.  Principal Mrs. Meenaghan said, ” Our school community is holding Izzy close in our thoughts and prayers. We wish her strength, comfort and hope and we look forward to the day when brighter moments return for her.
