We were delighted to welcome former pupil and current minister for education Hildegarde Naughton to Scoil Íosa. Such is her fondness for the time that she spent in our school as a pupil and the high level of education she received here, she was adamant that this would be her first visit in her new role.

Pupils were keen to showcase their high level of learning that promotes modern 21st century skills including creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and digital literacy. Hildegarde observed coding, art music and other activities and was delighted to see that children are still receiving a world class education here that prepares them for contemporary society
