5 a-side soccer team Galway championship

Congratulations to the school’s 5 a-side soccer team who won the Galway championship today. They beat Moycullen, Scoil Iognáid and Gaelscoil Mhic Amhlaigh en route to winning the title. They now progress to the Connacht championships in May. Well done boys!

Today in Ms Cosgrave’s class we made some chocolate Easter nests. It was lots of fun and pretty tasty too! 🐣

Having fun with Art in Ms Fahey’s class. We worked together using long strokes on the page, then we blended the colours.

Trip to the Ailwee Caves & Birds of Prey Sanctuary

Mr. Gormally’s fifth class travelled to County Clare for an educational tour as part of their study on the Burren. They visited the Ailwee Caves and the Birds of Prey Sanctuary. The children learned about the formation and history of the caves, and learned about the local flora and fauna of the area, specifically the birds of prey. A great day out was had by all!

4th Class Christmas Performance

4th class entertained the school community and the wider Oranmore community with their renditions of Yellow by Coldplay and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. It was a truly inclusive performance as children used Lámh sign language. The staff and parents were very proud of the effort of all the children.
