Junior Infant School Tour
We had a lovely trip to Turoe pet farm. We got to feed some of the animals, went on the inflatables and had lots of fun with our friends!

The only thing sweeter than the races today? The ice-cream at the finish line.
Our Junior and Senior Infants had a fantastic sports day filled with fun, games and a very special visit from the ice cream van. Please watch the highlights below.
Term 3 is flying by already! We have been so busy the past few weeks in Ms.McSweeney’s Junior Infant class.. here’s a little snapshot! From learning about money and magnetism to starting tennis lessons, going on library visits and an adventure to Renville Park!

We had a very busy week in Ms.McSweeney’s Junior Infant class celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge. From participating in the feis, to having a ‘ceili mór’ in the halla for Lá glás.
We are looking forward to seeing the St. Patrick’s Day parade too!

We had some pancake fun today, we decorated our pancakes and used the day as inspiration for our news!

Ms.McSweeney’s Junior infants have been so busy! Here is a peek into some of our recent work. We created our ‘spring is in bloom’ tulips for art, brought in some special items to write about for ‘show and tell’ and we are practicing our paired reading! No wonder time is flying by! 🙂

Ms.McSweeeney’s JI were looking at the concept of length this week. We decided to see how many cubes we could put together….250 cubes in length!!! Great team work from everyone!

Merry Christmas from Ms.McSweeney’s Junior Infants ☺️

Ms. Conway’s Junior Infants enjoyed exploring some Autumn leaf rubbing. Children collected lots of colourful leaves and created their Autumn art work.
